The last hamlet of the Seline podi from the west towards the east, near the Mala Paklenica canyon, is Jukići. The mirilo stones are located at Pod Jukića, halfway from the sett lement to the cemetery. A “pod” is a fl at piece of land overgrown in scrub vegetation because of which such terrain was fairly inaccessible. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Jukić family began to construct the group of mirilo stones at Poljarica - Brižna. Today both sites have been destroyed because of the construction of houses and weekend cott ages in the area. In 1978, a total of 50 mirilo stones were documented. They were oriented north - south and west - east. The slabs were mostly of the amorphous type, irregularly rectangular, massive, of coarse workmanship, and imprecisely placed. The basic decorative motif was the cross with four supplementary symmetrically carved holes (star symbols). Crosses with rays also appear (solar crosses) on the headstones. There were no inscriptions, and some headstones have no markings whatsoever.
