Rastovci

They are located west of the cemetery at Ljubotić, halfway from the hamlet of Livadice to the cemetery, on both sides of the path. They belonged to the families of the hamlets of Bristovac (Vukić) and Livadice (Zubčić and Njegovan - Nigovan) on the mountain and the Vukić and Zubčić families from Mandalina and Lisarica on the coast.

Almost the entire large complex is preserved in its original state thanks to a natural protection of low growing shrubs and oaks, which aft er removal and clearing was uncovered in all its mystic beauty, refl ecting the spirituality of the people of Velebit Mountain. They are oriented west - east, and the headstone and footstone types were rectangular, square, and amorphous. The mirilo stones on the southern side of the path are of wealthier families (Zubčić and Vukić), are more monumental and more precisely built, some using mortar, with incised simple crosses and inscriptions, while on the northern side of the path, the stones of the poorer Njegovan and Vukić families are smaller and oft en lack any marks. Inscriptions can be found on some headstones of the Zubčić and Vukić families on the southern side. Astral motifs were represented by two stylized sun discs on the northern side.
